"Aki-poooon~" From that tone of voice, Akina had been expecting to see Mitsuki barrelling towards her with intent to tackle. Thus, she was mildly surprised to find Himeko running pell-mell in her direction, stopping just short of sending them both crashing to the ground. Really, the brunette thought, she had been spending too much time with Mitsuki... the immitation was eerily perfect. As it stood, Himeko was looking at her with a large, silly smile on her face. And that usually meant one thing. "You're drunk." Himeko laughed, knowing full well it wasn't a question. "Of course~ Ne, ne, anyway, Aki-pon~" Her smile became sickly sweet, "Lend me some money~?" Akina continued to simply look st the girl. "... alcohol really does make you stupid."

"Of course it is," she stated in a matter-of-fact tone, "Chicken-ass-hair took Katon to the festival without telling any of us - that strikes me as awfully suspicious..." Akina simply looked at her - that wasn't what she had been referring to. Mitsuki chipped in, "Wh... while I agree Hime-chan... I think Aki-pon was talking about the kimonos..." There was a light flush on her face as she looked down at the pink affair Himeko had picked out for her. While it was pretty... well... it wasn't like you HAD to wear a kimono just to attend the festival. Himeko just looked at them both. "What about them? It's not like you get a chance to wear them anywhere else..." Mitsuki nodded slightly while Akina just continued to look at her. "You continue to miss the point, Ms. Aokawa..."

She had listened to Mitsuki go on about "that thing" and Katon being out all alone for the last two hours. The purple-haired girl's imagination was astouding. Really, what kind of person thinks that just because two people are out on a date a cow will fall out of the sky and crush them? Akina placed the knife on the table and walked over to the still blubbering female. Mitsuki was shocked when she felt a soft hand on her shoulder. "Ms. Umisako," Akina said in her quiet voice. Was Akina actually comforting her?! Mitsuki felt her happiness building up in her chest-"Stop saying stupid things." And just like that, all the happiness deflated.

"Aki-pon!!" Mitsuki cried as she ran to her "friend" and immediately wrapped her arms around the brunettes shoulders. Akina blinked slowly, she had long ago become accustomed to the girl's outbursts, "Is there something that you need, Ms. Umisako?" Were those tears in her eyes? Honestly, Akina didn't have time for this. "I-It's Katon-chan!" The brunette immediately went on alert, had there been an attack? "Did something happen to Ms. Kajiki?" Mitsuki was full out bawling now, "YES! S-She's out with that...that thing again!" Akina's body relaxed. She let out a soft sigh, "Ms. Umisako, I do believe that Mr. Uchiha would not appreciate you referring to him as a 'thing.' I am quite sure that he and Ms. Kajiki will return soon, now could you please release me? It's my turn to make dinner tonight." Mitsuki did not release the brunette. Instead, she opted to walk into the kitchen with Akina, still attached, muttering about the safety of a certain redhead all the while.

Maybe Mitsuki wasn't as annoying as some of her other teammates. This was what was running through her head as she looked at the shelves filled to capacity with beautiful works of literature. This was one of Akina's favorite places to buy her books. "Happy Birthday, Aki-pon~! For your present, you can pick out whatever books you want!" Yeah, Mitsuki was kind of cool.

The world had to be coming to an end. That was the only explanation Himeko could find for the smell coming out from the other room. There was no way that Ms. Never Care About Anyone Other Than Herself was in kitchen and baking sweets nonetheless! "This is very fishy," she said to her victim-I mean partner. Takahiro looked down at his friend, "What's so weird about it? Maybe she likes to cook." Himeko wasn't buying that for one minute. She knew her, sort of, rival well enough to know that Akina NEVER ate sweets, so that meant she had to be making it for someone else...BUT WHO?! (I agree with Himeko, Akina being nice to someone else is probably one of the signs of the end of the world. Sorry that Taka and Hime-wan came out so bad Ash-tan TT^TT *isn't used to editting either of them*)

Himeko had a good feeling about this one. She'd lost last time, but damnit, she'd been distracted! Katon's safety was more important than her alcohol funds. Looking at her hand, then at the stoic girl's face, she couldn't resist a dig, over-confidence be damned, she had a full house! "You'll be paying up this time Aki-pon. Show 'em!" Akina merely looked at her, laying her cards down on the carpet and stating flatly, "Royal flush." Himeko could do little more than stare, cards falling from her slack grip. How did she... HOW DID SHE ALWAYS DO IT?!

"I'll go get our bags from the room, okay?" Katon smiled brightly and began to walk away, but she was stopped as Mitsuki wrapped an arm around her shoulder. "No way, we couldn't make you get all that stuff by yourself," Mitsuki turned to face a random group of people that were standing not too far away, "Hey, you guys! Go to the last room on the left, get the bags in the doorway, and bring them back here!" She didn't even face them long enough to see their reactions. The group all gave her looks of confusion and anger. Who the heck was this girl telling them to go get her stuff? The one closest to them was about to tell her off when the air suddenly turned tense and cold. Akina was radiating murderous waves in their direction. Immediately they took off down the hall towards the room, leaving behind a giant dust cloud.

Akina and Himeko glanced up from their game of poker as a loud crash echoed through the room. Katon had her arms wrapped around Hinatori's wolf form tightly. She gave a nervous laugh as she noticed her comrads stares. "Ah, Katon-chan," Himeko said, "Hinatori acting up again?" Katon sighed, keeping track of her demon was hard work, "Y-Yeah, but don't worry I've got her now-" Hinatori immediately bolted for the door with her container in tow. "WAHHHH!! HELP MEEEE!!" Himeko was off in a flash to save her precious Katon while Akina took another look at the cards in her hand; a royal flush. Scooping the pot into her pocket she stood up and dusted herself off before disappearing after the two females.

Akina sat down at the table and figetted qith the sleeves of her sweatshirt. It was oddly quiet. There was no sounds of things breaking, screaming, or cursing of any kind. It was a nice change, but Akina couldn't help but feel a tug at her chest when she noticed one of the reasons it was so quiet. "Ms. Kajiki?" she asked quietly to the red-head making breakfast, "Do you happen to know where Mr. Hozuki has gone?" Katon turned around and smiled her brunette friend, "Oh, you mean Suigetsu? He left about an hour ago. He said something about needing something in town." Akina looked down, "I see..." Katon's smile fell at the sound of Akina's tone. It was almost as if the queen of stoicism was...sad?

Suigetsu gave a small smirk, "Geez there you go again, always ordering people around. You assume that we'll just do everything you say-" Akina's haunting whisper interrupted Suigetsu's taunting, "Of course, Mr. Uchiha, we shall return in a short while." She immediately began to glide towards the door. 'What the hell? Don't just go agreeing for me!" Akina turned her head without stopping her walk, "Very well, I am perfectly capable of releasing the prisoners on my own. There was never much of a need for you to come anyway." She passed through the doorway and Suigetsu felt a smirk return to his face. His new comrad sure was interesting.

(I know Akina doesn't really look like a man in this, but it was funnier for both of them to be switched) Mitsuki let her thoughts wander freely, and that is never a good thing for they often tread into weird territory. Like right now. She found herself thinking about the possible relationship between her stoic comrad, Akina, and a certain red-headed boy. It was a weird combination. Kyou was much more like the overly-affectionate girl expiriencing a first crush. Akina was also mor fitting of the calm and cool guy who keeps to himself. Mitsuki laughed at the thought of the gender-switched teens in the middle of a love confession. "OW!" a fist collided with the top of her head. "Stop thinking ridiculous thoughts," Akina turned and kept walking down the dirt road. "H-How did she know what I was thinking?" Akina was truely a force to be reckoned with.

The epitome of sunshine and rainbows turned towards her pink-haired companion and blinked slowly. Once Sakura realized that Akina wasn't going to respond to her question, she decided to continue, "I was just wondering what you use in your hair. I mean look at it. It's drier than the sand village and all your ends are split." Akina ran her hand through her short brown tresses and stared blankly at Sakura. Hair management wasn't high on her priorities list. In fact, it wasn't on her priorities list at all. "Here, this should help," Sakura handed her a pair of pink bottles, "I use this stuff al the time and it does wonders." Akina stared down at the gifts. They were strawberry scented. "I see," she mumbled, "I appreciate your kindness Ms. Haruno." Sakura smiled at the stoic brunette, "No problem! We're on the same team, so we have to look out for each other, right?" Akina looked back down at the bottles before placing them on the nightstand and crawling into bed. "H-Hey, don't go sleep without answering!"

(this is after she killed the guy but before she runs away) Akina flew up in her bed. Sweat poured down her face and her breathing was erratic. She stared down at her hand that shook wildly. Even though she made sure to wash her hands twenty-five times until they turn raw, she could still see the crimson blood that dripped from her fingertips and stained her sheets. The red liquid mixed with salty tears that began to fall down her face. So much blood...so many tears...so much pain...

Sasuke had probably buggered off with Katon to do something more fun hours ago, this "mission" all but seeming like one big attempt to separate the redhead from her two over-protective maternal figures. Speaking of whom... he darted a glance in their direction; they were fleecing money from hapless idiots making bets against Mitsuki in various events, Himeko happily taking in the notes and coins, tucking them inside the tie on the short kimonos they'd all been forced into. Damn them, having fun. He looked back at Akina - she hadn't even moved an inch. "Come on Akina - Sasuke and Katon're gone, I haven't seen Karin or Juugo for even longer and those two are busy hustling. Can't we just go?" The brunette spared a flat glance in his direction. "SAsuke said to observe - thus, I am observing. Feel free to take your leave at any time." Then she was back to examining the crowds with the same flat look. Suigetsu bit back a groan. It was going to be a long day.

Akina stepped carefully. Just because she was forced to walk on a dirt road did not mean that she should wear it too. She constantly kept her eyes on her feet, and she didn't say a word for the first twenty minutes of the walk. "Hey, what's wrong with that one?" Tazuna asked, "Can't she talk?" Kakashi smiled under his mask and placed a gloved hand atop the brunette's head, "Nothing's wrong with Akina. She's just a little...different, is all." Akina's eyes flashed to Kakashi, "Mr. Hatake, I would appreciate it greatly if you removed your hand. As for you, Mr. Tazuna, I feel that it is often beneficial to say nothing when there is no point in talking." An awkward pause followed Akina's comment. "I think I liked her more when she didn't talk," Tazuna mumbled to himself, "She's one strange little girl."

"Look at that hack job!" laughed one of the boys from the back of the room. Akina felt her face flush in embarrassment as she stood before the class. She could feel all the kids staring at her choppy brown hair that stuck out from underneath her turquoise winter hat, and why wouldn't they? One day her brunette tresses reached halfway down her back, and the next day they're barely past her ears; it was not a change that could be overlooked.

As you can see, she changed her hairstyle so it's a little shorter and her bangs sweep to the side so that they cover her right eye. She now wears a fighter's kimono and she keeps her headband tied around her head instead of her waist (and she made the slice to symbolize that she left Konoha). Finally, you can see that she also aquired a long scar across her face. She got this when she was attacked by the man who she went crazy on and killed

Akina stared down at the blood-stained ground. She let out a soft sigh. 'I did it again,' she thought, disappoined with herself. She quickly removed her kunai knives from her victims throats, arms, legs, etc and wiped the blood off on the corpses' clothes. Their outfits were already bloody, so a little more wouldn't kill them...oh, right.

Akina stared at herself in the mirror. The restaurant's bathroom was surprisingly spotless, so she saw her reflection perfectly. She saw her marred face staring back at her with empty eyes. The medical ninja had healed most of the cuts she sustained during the attack, but the worst ones still left horrible scars that she would have to live with for the rest of her life. Her reflection's empty eyes began to water, and, for the first time in years, Akina cried.

She only felt her foot connect with the tree for a second before she was once again in the air. It was the most amazing thing that she had ever felt. She was literally flying through the air. The world was passing by in a blur of colors, but she knew it would not last. Her foot connected with the next tree branch and it all came to a stop. She was no longer soaring, and the world came to an abrupt halt.

Her full name is Nicole Armelle Rouge. Her mother is French-Italian and her father is completely French. She has loose ties to the mafia through her grandfather, who is completely Italian, on her mother's side. She lives in Nice, France, but often works in Italy as a translator for her grandfather and his "friends" because she speaks Italian and French fluently. Nicole is completely obsessed with money. She keeps a little black book with her at all times that contains all the people that she has ever given money to so that she doesn't forget to get it back. If too much time goes by she uses an old hocky stick to help the person "find their wallet." She is hunted down by Reborn before he goes to Japan and is asked to go along with him to help with Tsuna's training (for a price of course). She isn't very motivated to work or do stuff for others unless it involves getting paid, and she's sensitive about how flat her chest is. I know in the pic it looks like she has boobs, but it's just because her shirt is very baggy and creates a shadow. In reality she has pretty much nothing there.

She got her father to pay extra so that she can wear the boys uniform in case you were wondering) A voice rang out from the couch "Who are you?" Crap, how had it ended up like this? Kagame was just trying to stalk Kyouya relentlessly to expose the awful and manipulative man that he really was, nothing weird right? So why were the karma fairies out to get her? She peaked out from behind the curtain that she had been hiding behind. It was one of the twins that had asked her the question, though which one she had no idea. "K-Kagame," she sad sheepishly, "Kagame Mine." She walked closer and gave an awkward smile as a piece offering, maybe if she was nice then she could leave without anyone else finding out about this. Another pair of footsteps was heard walking up behind her. "And who do we have here?" a deep, familiar voice asked. "K-Kyouya-sempai?!" Damn karma fairies...

(He's from my Naruto fanfic and he has a crush on Akina. He was only of the few people who were actually nice to Akina as a kid. Kyou was the one who gave Akina the belt that she wears around her neck. As Akina gets older she alienates herself from everyone including the people who were still nice to her, but he still tries to be her friend. She just ignores him ^^;;) The tiny brunette locked eyes with a pair of bright green ones. The bright eyes were attached to an equally bright young boy and she could feel her face heat up even more. He wasn't laughing at her, on the contrary, his expression was happy and encouraging. She could feel her embarrassment slowly being swept away as she offered him a small smile of her own.

Shinku shook even more with every step that the stranger took towards her. "Your blood...smells so delicious," he hissed while licking his lips, "Do you mind if I have a tas-" his red aura went out as a hand sliced right through his neck. Blood spattered everywhere and Shinku's focus snapped to the boy that stood in front of her with a sleeve stained crimson. He couldn't have been more than a teenager by his looks, he had chocolate locks that fell past his ears and dark eyes that held so many secrets. Se wouldn't have been afraid if her own eye hadn't reacted just as it had with the stranger whose corpse was lying on the frozen ground. The boy held the same red aura, and she cowered in fear. Sure he had saved her life, but he had also ended the stranger's. The red aura was a warning to stear clear of these creatures who do not think twice about murder.

It was so cold. Her winter attire did little to help her as the snow turned the Earth white with each flake that flew past her. She held out her hands to grasp the frozen rain, but it turned to water as soon as it touched her purple gloves. Such purity could never be tangible to such a cursed being as herself. A man stepped out in front of her. Her brown eye reacted immediately to his presence, allowing her to see the dark red aura that surrounded him. A shiver ran down her spine. This dark aura was unfamiliar and frightening...almost inhuman.

She was uncomfortable, that much was certain. She was being showed around a town by Suigetsu, which wasn't so bad once you got past the super annoying personality of his. But even that wasn't the worst of it, oh no. The more uncomfortable thing was the way he was showing her around town, by the HAND! She didn't know whether she wanted this or not, it pretty much came down to which of the following feelings was the most powerful, embarrassment (which would lead to Suigetsu's slow and painful death) or adoration (which would lead to Suigetsu being allowed to keep his hand).

"You're so irritating!" yelled Akina to a certain bluenette who was seriously trying her patience. He gave her that same toothy girn the always did, "But that's why you love me right?" She surprised him by not turning around and walking away like she usually did when he said stupid things like that. Instead, she pressed her lips against his, not that he was complaining or anything. "You're exactly right," she finally whispered in his ear after breaking away from him. Then before he even knew what had happened she turned and walked away from him. Old habits sure do die hard.

Nami walked down the hall towards the stairs. She froze at the sound of a soft thump behind her, but relaxed when she realized who the mysterious visitor was. "Hello Miss Botan, it's been a while" Nami said happily. Seeing the Grim Reaper was a nice change from a certain spirit detective who had been driving her up a wall. "There's no time for catching up Nami," said the bluenette, "Koenma has a mission for you and Yusuke, and it's of the utmost importance." Nami blinked, "A mission?" That was odd. She hadn't been getting any visions of an uncoming mission. "You didn't know?" asked Botan. Clearly she ws just as surprised as Nami was. "What do you think it means?" Ugh! How could one person be so infuriating?! "Yusuke, you need to start taking things more seriously! Honestly, I have no idea what Koenma was thinking making someone like YOU a spirit detective." The green clad boy just sat against the wall with his eyes closed. "HEY! Are you even listening to me?!" asked Nami, not hiding her anger even a little bit. (I realized that I have been doing the eyes all wrong so I went back and fixed them) She was about to follow Yusuke back into the school (and probably try to kill him in a very slow and painful way) when she suddenly felt a strong presence behind her. "I see you and Yusuke are getting along nicely." She twitched and spun around angrily. "Lord Koenma," she said through clenched teeth as she tried not to take out her mood on her boss and get herself fired. "I still cannot fathom as to why you would stick me on this job. Isn't there someone else you want to punish??" "Now Nami, you know I'm not punishing you. I believe your powers are of great importance to Yusuke. We need someone who can give us a little 'insight' into what may happen to balance out his irrational, and often unpredictable, behavior," said the toddler prince. She crossed her arms to show her discontent, but how could she argue with that? Yusuke did often attract a lot of danger; maybe her assistance was needed here. Not that she would ever tell Koenma that. "I still don't like it," she said and sulked all the way to her next class.

"Yusuke, I swear if you EVER do that again I will take a knife, shove it down your pants, and forever make you into a woman!" He just laughed while walking away with a huge red handprint on his face. (continued: though he pisses her off...a lot) Nami stared down at her blue uniform in disgust. How could they do this to her?! Did she do something wrong? Did she insult them in some way? Tears form in her eyes as she continued to scrutinize the dress even further. It just wasn't fair. Why was she stuck with babysitting the newest detective? "Hey, are you...crying?" Oh god, as if her day wasn't bad enough. "Shut up Yusuke," she said and looked down to hide her watering eyes. "Are you still moping over having to stay here in the human world?" How in the world did he guess? She didn't answer him and he took that as a yes. "Well, you should look on the bright side. At least your outfit looks good." Whether to prove a point or to just be annoying she didn't know, but he lifted her blue skirt with one hand. She felt her face heat up and she spun around. A slap could be heard echoing through the air. "YOU PERV!" she screamed at the top of her lungs.

Akina and Himeko sat in the audience watching as the match between Naruto and Neji went on down below. "This looks bad," said the black-haired kunoichi sadly, "there's no way Naruto can match up with Neji." The brunette looked over at her and smiled, "Of course he can. I think that if he tries hard enough then he still has a chance in this fight." "No way," Himeko responded, "I mean Naruto's got a lot of chakra, but Neji is by far the better fighter of the two." "I bet you five buck that Naruto gets in at least one gret hit before this fight is over," said Akina. "You're on!" They both turned back to watch the match intensly. Just as they did Naruto sprang out from beneath he Earth where he had previously been and socked his opponent right in his jaw. Himeko felt her moth fall open, and Akina just smirked. "Way to go," she whispered proudly. She turned to Himeko, "So about my five bucks."

Sasuke, Suigetsu and Katon wee off doing diome mission or other, Taka was in town getting Himeko her sake (honestly, one drunken brawl and you're barred for life... cielings aren't THAT hard to repair...) so what better time to snoop shamelessly? (Karin started it - it was more than a little disturbing to walk in and see her trying on Sasuke's clothes). "Sketchbooks?" Himeko said quizzically, lifting the two objects which quickly had Akina joining her to inspect. "They're Sasuke and Suigetsu's..." She muttered, lifting the one stampted with a shark while Himeko inspected the other. There was a pause while they both lifted a drawing. "... WHAT THE HELL?!"
